Putting Safety First: HDC modifies service offering

Putting Safety First: HDC modifies service offering

In an effort to minimise the spread of the Covid-19 virus and in keeping with the guidelines and protocols established by international health organisations and the Ministry of Health, the Trinidad and Tobago Housing Development Corporation (HDC) wishes to advise clients that, until further advised, they should not visit the HDC’s offices unless they have been contacted for the following:

–  Assessment for interviews for public housing

–  Payment of administrative fees for allocation of public housing

Clients who are contacted to conduct the services listed above, are required to attend only at the designated time. When visiting the office, clients must adhere to the health and safety requirements implemented by the HDC.

All other services such as payments of mortgages, rental and other agreements, can be completed at any Sure Pay payment centre. Clients who wish to request emergency repairs, are encouraged to contact the Estate Management Division’s Call Centre: 612 7432 ext 1004-1006 or submit messages via the HDC’s Facebook platform.

Clients with obvious flu-like symptoms are encouraged to stay away from the office and contact the relevant HDC Department (via telephone -612 7432) to conduct their transaction or submit their enquiry.

The HDC looks forward to the cooperation of our clients as we all do our part and take the necessary precaution so that we can minimise the spread of COVID 19 in our country.
