In April, the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) commemorated International Women and Girls in ICT Day for the tenth consecutive year. The theme for 2021 was Connected Girls, Creating Brighter Futures.
At the HDC, there are currently five (5) females who perform IT functions. This is great given that in some organisations, there are no females at all. Here, we focus on two of the female IT professionals, their roles and their views of their profession.
