Today, HDC Managing Director, Brent Lyons and a technical team, visited Greenvale Park to review some of the repair work done on units which were affected by the October 19 flood event. This visit was important because it allowed the team to see first-hand, the work done by contractors and to speak with residents (who were at home) about upcoming mitigation works in the community.
Some residents and contractors indicated to the team that the main challenges which affected the delivery of the work, were the scheduling of works and availability of the residents. However, these hurdles were overcome and to date, many units were completed and handed over to residents. Others are in advanced stages and will be completed soon. The Managing Director told the team and contractors that all repair works should be completed by the end of February 2019.
